What we'd like to focus on in today's post is quality of life in Austin. I know that quality of life is a big and important topic for me personally--I've lived in several cities in this country and actually grew up here in Austin. Once I got back, I realized how much more the city has to offer.

There's various areas of town that people don't even realize are there. For instance, Lake Travis is an incredible natural landmark just outside of the city. It's 30 minutes from downtown, and one of the biggest lakes in the state. In fact, it's been rated the cleanest lake in the state, yet it's such a short drive from being in the middle of such a metroplex! It's quite a rarity.
