You Won’t Believe What The Home Owner Found Inside!

1956 kitchen

It's not every day you find a brand new kitchen completely stocked with pastel pink 1956 appliances.

That's exactly what happened with Nathan Chandler, a furniture supplier that's based in Chicago. Chandler purchased the home in 2010 and the photos from the home have recently been making the rounds on the internet.

The story goes that Chandler was simply purchasing a home. There was a catch, though.

“The house was never occupied and the appliances were never used,” Chandler explains. “The manuals were still tapes to the appliances.”

There was no explanation as to why the home had never had any occupants, but that didn't deter Chandler. Instead of balking and being cautious, he eagerly…

historic homes in austinThere are so many ways that people look for a home. Whether it's through the internet or asking a friend or some other thing, we live in an age where a million different options exist in order to provide the consumer with the exact kind of option that they are looking for. However, in this age of wonders, there is only one option that stands head and shoulders above the rest. One thing that will help you find those homes for sale.

Ask a realtor.

We sincerely and honestly believe that the best resource for a person or family to find new homes for sale is to talk with a realtor. It's the same way someone would talk to a doctor about a medical procedure or a mechanic about an automotive procedure. You would talk to a realtor for a real estate procedure. In…

round-rock-homes-for-saleTexas is known for a lot of things, like barbecue, Bevo, and being big. But there's one adjective that applies that might not have been at the top of your list:

With big companies like these, Round Rock is one of the best cities to live in financially.

What To Do in Round Rock

austin-moving-tips So you've bought a new home, and you're beginning the process of relocating your belongings and furniture. What might be largest headache along the way is actually moving all those things! Here are some tips from the moving pros that will help transferring into your new Austin home as easy as possible.

Wrap Breakables in Clothing, Towels, or Blankets

While in many cases it makes the most sense to pack your items and separate them by where in the house they will go, you can save a whole lot of time and money by packing your soft bedroom items (clothes, blankets, towels) with your breakable kitchenware. This method will protect your plates and kitchen ware from breaking, and save you from having to wrap everything up in bubble wrap or newspaper.
